Red Lion was such an important place for me when I was growing
up. Of course, I am so grateful that I was able to grow up in one
town and not move around a lot but, just like everyone else, I experienced so many different things here that have shaped me so much. Going to the park to play when I was a child was always fun and I made so many friends there. But once I grew up, I still found myself hanging out at that park but instead, we
just sat around and talked. When I was young we were only able
to walk on our block, but when we got older we were able to walk all around town. I had my first friendships here and some of them have ended since then. I had my first loves and heart-
breaks and this town still holds all of those memories for me. Whenever I drive through town, I think about the people I know
who lived on the streets I passed or the places where I remember
riding bikes down. I think about all of the memories I made in this one small town in Pennsylvania and I am honestly grateful
that I was able to spend so much time there. I feel so connected
to this town and it is going to be a part of me forever because it has shaped me and the person I am now.
