I remember when I was younger I would go to football games with my parents in Red Lion and I always loved the atmosphere.
Listening to the town cheer on a group of students while they were playing was always so fun to hear, but there was always so much more going on. But honestly, my favorite part was always watching the marching band and the color guard. I always
found them the most interesting and I loved watching them more than the actual football game.

Once I had gotten into high school, and Falon got me into the color guard, I was at the football field even more, but it was so different now. We all had to walk in silently and in a single file line and we weren't allowed to talk to anyone. We had a certain
section we had to sit in and we had to sit there for the entire
game. Once it was half-time and the other school was per-forming we had to stand and watch their performance. When it was over, we were allowed to go get food and walk around, we just had to be back for the last quarter. We then spent the rest of the night cheering on the team and getting ready for our performance. When we were at other schools, it was a bit different. We would perform at halftime which meant more people were watching and then after we would go to get food.
This is when we got to meet the other marching band and talk
with them about their show. When we were at competitions, the
football field was so different. Being in a stadium with people who are there just to watch you is such a different experience.
