You taught me how to be someone who others appreciate and
how to be a good person. Every single time we ever went over
to your house, you always made sure everyone was welcome and comfortable. You would do things like make people their own meal because they didn't like what we were having. You would make a cake for me every single year for my birthday, heart-shaped chocolate with chocolate icing and rainbow sprinkles. You would always watch me on the weekends and you always took care of me. There are things that you do that others just can't replicate that taught me how important it is to do these things for others.

I like to think that you sparked my creativity and made me into the artist that I am today. You are such a creative person yourself
that I think it just rubbed off on me. Watching you do all the things you enjoyed made me want to do them. You would always
get me puzzles and read me books every single time I slept over. You taught me to sew and always let me help you bake. You allowed me to play and run around your house because you knew I didn't get to have that at my house. You would let me help you garden and take home flowers for my mom so she
could enjoy them too. You grew my love for learning, puzzles, drawing, and gardening and because of you, I have so much passion for the creative things in my life. Flowers remind me of
you every time that I see them because you helped me grow so much.

I don't understand how you have been so strong since Papa died but I knew you needed to hold it together for everyone. I know you and him had such an amazing marriage and I know he is still looking over you and making sure you are okay. Now that I've grown up, I feel that we have grown apart but I know that's my fault. I still really enjoy having cookouts at your house
and just talking to you. Thank you for showing up for me when I still need you.
